Summer Ceviche

Rooted Pear loves discovering new way to make entertaining simple yet enjoyable. This week we decided to bring some color and spice to the table. With the summer season underway, you are sure to find an abundance of colorful produce ready to for their show-stopping display and who are we to deny them! Ceviche is a great way to jazz up your usual seafood routine. It’s versatile, flavorful, and photo worthy no matter what your choice of protein is. We decided to start with the classic ceviche blend of red onions, cilantro, lime juice, and avocado. We then added our own twist to the classic with some fresh mango, red peppers, and some spicy jalapenos for a little zing! Finally, we balanced out the sweet and tangy flavors with the fresh juice of 2 oranges. The aromas of the blended ingredients were enough to get your mouth watering. With an assortment of fresh citrus, crisp veggies, and the heat of some jalapeno peppers, these ceviche dishes are sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
