When the sun is out and the warm breeze starts calling your name, the last thing you want to do is stand in front of a hot oven baking! As much as we love our sweets, we definitely love basking in the glow of those lazy summer months way more, so we searched high and low for the answer to our first-world problems. You’ll be happy to know we found the perfect fix to our dilemma. What’s an easy and refreshing dessert to satisfy the summertime heat? If you said 'granita' then BINGO! This was not only a fun recipe to make, but also a cinch. The hardest part of the whole process is making sure you leave enough time for the fruit puree to freeze without being tempted to gobble it all up mid-way! With a handful of fresh fruits, some simple syrup, and a blender, you’ll have this delicious treat on its way to frozen heaven in no time! Rooted Pear’s version of this go-to hit comes in layers of fresh kiwis, mangos, and raspberries. What’s your flavor?
